Bonjour mes amis! 🎾🇲🇨
Just 72 hours. That’s all it took to trade Hamburg for the Mediterranean dazzle. After a quick flight to Nice and a scenic drive up the coast, we found ourselves perched on a balcony overlooking the practice courts of the legendary Monte Carlo Country Club.
Here is the official recap of our whirlwind trip to the Monte-Carlo Masters.
The Venue: An Intimate Masterpiece 🌊⛰️
Let’s set the stage: on one side, the sparkling Mediterranean Sea; on the other, the coastal mountains closing in. Tucked away right in the middle of the city, the Country Club is an absolute masterpiece of a venue. But be warned: this tournament is not for the socially phobic. Fans cram into every available corner of the intimate grounds, but the upside to the chaos is that you literally feel the energy of every single point. And …. tickets? Easy! Online @viagogo and not too pricey.

The Routine: Saltwater & Caffeine ☕🌅
Our days quickly fell into a perfect Riviera rhythm: early morning ocean dips to wake up, enjoying the quiet morning practice sessions, and throwing back far, far too many expensive espresso shots to keep our energy up while navigating the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds.

The Tennis: Robots & Red Clay Drama 🤖😤
Despite a slightly cloudy start on Day 1, the player lineup was pure gold. We immediately spotted a VIP roster of the ATP's finest casually roaming around - to name a few: Alcaraz, Sinner, Zverev, Berrettini, Moutet, Khachanov, Ruud, Fonseca …
When it came to the actual matches, two storylines completely stole the show:
- The Machine: We watched Jannik Sinner operate like a total robot 🤖, ruthlessly locking in on his way to reclaiming the World No. 1 spot.
- The Meltdown: On the flip side, the notorious pressure of the red clay got the absolute best of Daniil Medvedev. We witnessed him completely fall apart in a second-round meltdown for the history books, dropping a brutal 6-0, 6-0 double-bagel. You really can't script that kind of entertainment!

The Verdict 🏆
Overall, it was a wildly fun, sun-drenched trip. We highly recommend the Monte-Carlo Masters for any true tennis fan looking to mix top-tier athletic action with unbeatable scenery and an electric atmosphere.
